I was very fortunate to visit my sister in Alabama for a little week getaway. We visited these awe inspiring caverns only an hour from her house!

In the shop today! I went shooting with my family last weekend and we found that there was no place to sit or shoot from when we were there.

Time to fix that! I present to you my shooting bench!

For the past two years, Bryce and I have gone to cut down our own Christmas tree! This year we went a bit overboard with a 20 footer.

My little sister and I decided to drive down to Fillmore this weekend to see the Annular Solar Eclipse. It was awesome in all sense of the word! Traffic back was a bummer though.

Now, if you want to know something about me that is a bit strange, I hate the heat. Living in Utah is awesome because there are all 4 seasons and much of the year in under 80° plus, there is actually snow unlike where I grew up in Phoenix, AZ.

That said, I love hot water. It could be a hot tub, hot springs or even just a nice hot shower; it just feels so good!

The gym i used to go to shut down during covid and none of the other local gyms have a pool of hot tub. I didn’t want to hike 5 miles to Fifth Water or sit in the mud pool in Saratoga Springs so I made up my mind to make my own!

It took some time to get all the parts worked out, (and all the measurements correct), but I made it out of a insulated horse trough. Lol, kinda strange but you can fit all the way inside unlike a bathtub!

While hiking in the Uinta Mountains over the Labor Day weekend, I found a small little creek that has a perfectly peaceful atmosphere. I took this recording to playback for good ambiance.

I finally did what I have wanted to do since I got my truck; drive it through a river!

Every year my company hosts and annual lake day at Jordonelle in Park City. This year I was in charge of the jetski’s and also the DJ!

I got baked again just like I do every year. At least I wore sunscreen this time!

On my way back from my Grand Canyon trip, I decided to take the scenic route from SR89 to I15 via the UT14. I’m very glad that I did! Three months ago, I did the same trip, and the entire valley was filled with snow.

I dipped my feet in the creek and froze them off in a few seconds!

Over the 4th of July weekend, My brother decided that it was a great time to show his family the Grand Canyon. Bryce and I had been there many times before with our cousins and knew some cool places. We camped out at the Jacob’s Lake campground and saw the North Rim Visitors Center.

The North Rim Lodge was struggling because the wintertime brought an avalanche that took out 300ft of the water main feeding the building. No bathrooms or dining… Bummer!

Over the 4th of July weekend, I took a little trip down to the Grand Canyon with my brother and his family. We were very fortunate to see the rare event of the Bison migrating through the park. I’m told that this only happens for about 3-4 days every year in the area we were in.

It has been raining for everyday in the afternoon for about 3 weeks. Today, on my way to work, a waterspout formed on Utah lake!

When I was in the 7th grade, I had a friend named Krista. She was my introduction to horseback riding! I was in awe at how enormous an animal could be at 12 years old. Years later at 26, I felt the same thing after going years without riding.

I went with my mother, brother, sister and sister-in-law on an hour guided tour. 10/10 would do again! Weather was perfect and the tour was peaceful. Always nice being out in nature!

On a walk near the top of Utah Lake one evening in early spring, I found a long snek boi chilling in the sun. A rainstorm was coming in and I thought that I might give him a respite at home while it passed.

Needless to say, I gave him a photoshoot and dubbed him: Mr. Snake!

Mr Snake was put back after the storm. He slithered back to a bush where a bunch of them were nesting.
